Ionia Sentinel Standard, 31 Mar 1979

Mrs. Virginia Arnie, 68, of 243 E. Broadway, died Monday evening at Naples
Community Hospital in Naples, Fla.  She was born June 5, 1911 in Woodland, the
daughter of Laurence and Jesse (Briggs) Faul.  In 1929 she graduated from
Woodland High School and from Michigan State University in 1935.  She married
Clarence Arnie Feb. 1, 1937 who preceded her in death March 1975.  Mrs. Arnie
was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Woodland and Eastern Star of Lake Odessa.

Survivors include two sons, Jack of Cadillac; Gordon of Woodland; three
grandchildren; one brother, Graydon Faul of Grand Rapids.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake
Odessa, the Rev. Timothy Rothfuss officiating.  Burial will be in Woodland
Memorial Park.  The family will be at the funeral home today and tomorrow from 2
to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. to greet friends and relatives.
