The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 14, 1921

The funeral for Mrs. Caroline C. Arnold was held from the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. William Stowell, 120 N. Dexter street, this morning at 10:30.  
Rev. R. E Meader officiated and the music was furnished by Mrs. Ray Colwell 
and Mrs. Willis Peck.  The bearers were R. W. Arnold, M. E. Arnold, Will 
Stowell and Lee Arnold. 

Those here from out of the city to attend the funeral were Mrs. Flora Disbrow, 
Mrs. Kate Sible and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Arnold all of Marion, Mr. and Mrs. Lee 
Arnold and son of Reed City, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hartwell and son Fred Case, 
Well Lincoln, and David Gates all of Saranac.  The floral offerings were many 
and beautiful.  burial took place in Balcom cemetery.
