Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wed., Aug 12, 1908
The death of Philenia Arnold took place last night at the home of George 
Conkey at Woodard lake where she had been staying. Mrs. Arnold was 96 years of 
age and formerly lived with Mr. and Mrs. Wm Lord, north of the city until the 
burning of their house a short time ago. The funeral will be held ths 
afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. Niergarth of Ionia officiating.
