Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Jan. 6, 1964


SARANAC - Funeral service for Mrs. Leola M. Arnold, 68, of 431 Morse street, 
Ionia, who died Saturday at Ionia County Memorial hospital, will be at Morris 
funeral home at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Terrance Wood of Grand Rapids 
will officiate and interment will be at Easton cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold was born in Trufant, November 6, 1895 and lived most of her life in 
the Saranac vicinity. Following the death of her husband, Martin, in March 
1963, Mrs. Arnold sold her home in Easton township and moved to Ionia.

She was past president of Everybody's Garden club of Saranac.

Survivors include three sons, George Arnold of Saranac route two, Douglas of 
Battle Creek, and Richard of Rockford; and five grandchildren.
