Richard W. Arnold, of Grand Blanc, aged 71, died Sunday, November f12, 1995 at 
Hurley Medical Center Memorial services will be 1PM Tuesday, November 14, 1995 
at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad, Linden, Rev. Grant H. Wessel 
officiating.

Family will be at the church after 12 noon Tuesday. Funeral inurnment will take 
place at Easton Cemetery, Saranac, MI, Saturday, November 25, 1995 at 11AM. 
Contributions may be made to The Nature Conservancy, Michigan Chapter, 2540 E. 
Grand River Ave., Suite 5, E. Lansing, MI 48823, or by remembering Dick every 
time trees and flowers are planted. Dick was born in Saranac, MI, June 7, 1924, 
a son to Martin and Leola Arnold and lived in the Fenton and Grand Blanc area 
since 1965. He married Harriet Gale December 21, 1952 in Evart, MI. He was a 
member of Linden Presbyterian Church. Dick enjoyed cutting wood and making wood 
crafts, reading and fishing with his family. Mr. Arnold was employed at 
Carman/Ainsworth School and then Fenton Area Schools, retiring in 1986. He is 
survived by: his wife, Harriet of Grand Blanc; a son, Dan Arnold; 2 
grandchildren, Shane Arnold and Tim Arnold, all of Manistee; brother, Douglas 
Arnold of Battle Creek; several nieces and nephews; and his precious Pommie. He 
was preceded in death by his brother, George Arnold.
