Arris rose from the supper table complaining of felling unwell, had a dreadful pain in her head. Her husband at once sent for a doctor. Dr. Stanton was found, who hastened to the Arris home immediately, but on arriving there found her dead, the result of a hemorrhage of the brain. The body was removed to the home of Mr. Arris’ sister, Mrs. Chas. Bennett, on South Bridge street where, Tuesday afternoon, funeral services were held conducted by Rev. A. W. Biss. Interment in River Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Lovina Arris, whose maiden name was Salyer, was married to Ed. Arris 16 years ago and was aged 34 years at the time of her death. To this union were born six children, three boys and three girls, all of whom are now living. She leaves a large circle of sorrowing relatives aside from her husband and children to mourn her untimely demise. She had long been subject to painful periods of severe headache, which it is thought, culminated in the bursting of a blood vessel in the brain, causing almost instant death.
