Robert W. Aseltine, jr., 7, of 103 Grand street, Portland, died Saturday in a
car-train accident.  He was born April 11, 1970 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, the son
of Robert Aseltine and Linda Ham.  He was a first grader in Oakwood elementary
school in Portland.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Tisa, at home; his grandparents Mr.
and Mrs. Merton Putnam of Ionia, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Aseltine of Grand Ledge
and Donald Ham of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Services are Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick’s church with Rev. Father
Donald Weber officiating.  Rosary will be recited Monday, at 8 p.m. at the
Neller funeral home.  Burial is in Portland cemetery.
