She was born on September 12, 1952 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Donald and Lorraine (Hoppes) Ham, Sr. Linda began her career at TRW at the age of 26 in 1978 in B Department as a Production Operator. In 1982 Linda transferred to CC01 and in 1988 she transferred to CC40. In 1991 Linda transferred to CC71 Shipping and Receiving, which is the classification of Indirect Utility Technician, in which she remained there until retirement. She retired effectively October 1, 2007 with 29 years of service at TRW Portland Plant. Linda enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, playing cards with Aunt Martie, taking trips with her aunts and sister, and was an animal lover, spoiling her 3 dogs. She loved spending time with her grandkids and daughter. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who met her. Preceding her in death were her son, Bobby Aseltine; mother, Lorraine Putnam (Hoppes); step dad, Bud Putnam; step brother, David Putnam; step sister, Leanne Putnam; step mother, Linda Ham; father-in-law, Kenneth Aseltine; special friend, Kenny Trierweiler. Surviving are her daughter, Tisa Meyers; son-in-law, Scott Meyers; sister, Annie Ham; special friend, Mike Meyers; brother, Donnie (Kris) Ham; step sister, Kathy Fabor; father, Donald G. Ham; step brothers, Duane (Jenny) Ham and Dan (Sandee) Ham; step sister, Melinda (Roy) Morais; grandkids, Zachary and Karli Meyers; many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Portland Cemetery, with Rev. Larry King of St. Patrick Catholic Church presiding. A luncheon will follow at the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland chapel.
