Ashby died at her home near Long Lake, Monday, of heart trouble. She had been sick but a very short time when summoned home to rest. The funeral services were held at the M.E. church, Orleans, Thursday afternoon. Rev. A.K. Stewart preached a very appropriate sermon from 2nd Samuel, 14th chapter and 14th verse, assisted by Revs. Hartle and Root. The many beautiful flowers showed that Mrs. Ashby was very highly respected by all. The only mourners were her husband and son and her father of New York; her mother was not able to come. The family have the sympathy of their neighbors and friends.
