He was born April 15, 1908 in Campbell Township, the son of John and Mary Bell Parker Aspinall. He attended Brown Rural School. He married Ella Carigon on February 5, 1947 in Grand Rapids. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed at the Caledonia Farmer Elevator for 27 years and the Mill Steel Company for 10 years. He retired in 1976. Surviving are his wife Ella; two daughters, Janet Allison and Judy Purdy, both of Clarksville; two sisters, Flossi Stagell of Hastings and Doris Tangeman of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sister-in-laws, Veda Aspinall of Hastings and Dorothy Aspinall of Cedar Springs; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Floyd, Ford, and Lonnie Aspinall; and one sister, Dorothy Aspinall. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Clarksville Bible Church with the Rev. Gregg Freed officiating. Burial will be at Bowne Mennonite Cemetery. The family will be at the Clarksville Coops Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday. A memorial fund has been set up for the Elmdale Nazarene Chapel Building.
