Funeral services were held for Mrs Mary Aspinall, 66, who passed away at her home Monday morning after a long illness. Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Carlton Methodist church with the Rev. Harley V. Townsend officiating. Interment was made in the Fuller cemetery in charge of F.C. Wing. She leaves the husband John, four sons Ford and Floyd in Hastings, Tony at Evart, and Russell at Fort Ord, Cal., three daughters Mrs Dorothy Underwood at Ionia, Mrs Flossie Slagel in Caledonia and Mrs.Doris Brady in Hastings; her mother Mrs.Lillie Parker of Evart; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr and Mrs Aspinall lived near Woodland on a farm until three years ago when they moved to Odessa. The son Russell at Fort Ord was given leave and arrived home Saturday morning.
