The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, May 6, 1981


Services for Alan Astle, 89, of 715 N. State Road, Ionia, who died Saturday 
were held Tuesday, 11 a.m. from St. John’s Episcopal Church, with the Rev. 
Samuel Morrison of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Greenville, officiating.  
Burial was in Easton Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Harold Bennett, Joseph 
Michael, Harry Boyes, Maurice Weiers, Harold Kettner and Harry Hendrickson.  A 
luncheon followed at the church.  Arrangements were by the Leddick Funeral Home.
