MRS.BERNICE ASWEL
Mrs. Bernice Aswel, 54, Grand Rapids, died Monday evening, at Butterworth Hospital,

Grand Rapids.
Mrs. Aswel was born at Ithaca, June 21, 1902. Her parents were Frederick and Abagail
White, of Belding.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur Kersjes, Birmingham, and Stanley Kersjes, Belding;
one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Virginia) Briggs, Grand Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence
(Gladys) Holliday, Sheridan and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 2:00 p.m., at Fitzjohn Funeral Home,
Belding. 
Elder A Mohr, of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, of Grand Rapids, will officiate.
Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.
