The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 8, 1973
A former Lyons resident, Arthur O. Atherton, 92, died Wednesday at a South 
Branch hospital.  He was born April 9, 1880 at Gaines.  He is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Lucille Davis of West Branch and Mrs. Lois Certenro of Nevada; 
several grandchildren and a brother, Walter Atherton of Lyons.  Funeral 
services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at South Branch with burial 
there.
