He was born in Ohio, October 27, 1871, and came to Saranac when a young man, living here continuously since. He was a partner with Clarence Renwick in the Saranac Produce Co., and was active until about two years ago when his health failed and he has been confined to his home most of the time since. He was a member of the Saranac I.O.O.F. Surviving besides his widow, Maude, are two step-children, Durward Olmstead of Saranac and Mrs. Ardith Magers of Belding. Funeral services were held Sunday at Morris Funeral Home, at 3:30. Rev. E.H. Humphrey officiated and burial was in Saranac cemetery. Bearers were Clarence Renwick, Fred Raymond, Charles Palmer, Max Densmore, Stanley Eddy and Morton Johnson.
