Andrew A. Attenberger, 88, former Muir resident, died Wednesday at the Belding
Christian Nursing Home.  Born Aug. 6, 1896, in Marion Springs, Mich., he was the
son of Jacob and Thekla Attenberger.  He attended schools in Marion Springs.  He
was a carpenter, retired from the state of Michigan.

Surviving are a son, Herbert, of Muir; a daughter, Beatrice Robotham of Beulah;
two half-sisters, Julia Kruger of Marion Springs and Mrs. Lawrence (Rosie)
Miller of Flint; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir,
with the Rev. Beattie Dobbie of Muir Presbyterian Church officiating.  Burial
will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
