Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Jul 1969

Mrs. Edith F. Atwell, 83, lifelong resident of Portland died Monday evening at
Ionia Manor where she had been a patient four years.  She was a member of the
Portland United Methodist church.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Norma Sandborn and Mrs. Irma Wilcox of Portland;
12 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in
Portland.  Rev. Donald Cozaad of United Methodist church will officiate and
interment will be at Portland cemetery.
