Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs.Sept. 2, 1954

BLANCH AUGST DIED MONDAY
Mrs. Blanch Burns Augst 82 died Monday morning at the home of  her son Clyde A.
Burns of Lansing after a week's illness, while on a visit at their home.

For the past thirty years she had spent much of her time in this area, spending
several winters in Florida.

She was a member of the First Baptist church in Lansing.

Surviving besides the son Clyde are two other sons, Harold Burns of Lake Odessa and

Clayton of Livonia; two daughters Mrs. Lloyd Ketchum of Lansing and Mrs. Alva
Tingley of Lake Odessa; 7 grandchildren an 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday August 25 at 2:30 at the Estes Leadley Colonial
chapel in Lansing with burial in Rosehill cemetery, Eaton Rapids.
