The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, October 15, 1966

Funeral services for Ida Austin were Friday at 2 o’clock at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home.  Bearers were Norman Showers, Harry Showers, Robert Stapleton, 
Clarence Stapleton, Herbert Grover and Pete Luth.  Rev. James Kendall 
officiated with burial in Easton cemetery.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapleton of Belding; Mrs. Cora 
Ford and Mrs. Violet Nunnery of Detroit and William Peterson, Muir.
