Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 4 Oct 1976

Donald E. Austin, 47, of 81 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Grand Rapids, died suddenly
Saturday at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born October 14, 1928
in Ionia, the son of Ida Austin.

He married Sue Lake April 17, 1975 in Ionia and attended Ionia high school.  He
was employed by Grand Rapids window cleaners and worked as a machinist in Grand
Rapids, Lansing and Ionia.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Tami Austin of Grand Rapids, one son,
Kenneth of Grand Rapids, two step-daughters, Mrs. Nancy Mulcher of Grand Rapids
and Mrs. John Smejkal of Muir and two grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman funeral home in Ionia with
burial in Easton cemetery.
