Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 & 12 Sep 1968

Mrs. Helen E. Austin, 25, of 171 East Main died suddenly at her home early
Monday morning.  Coroner Dale Kauffman was called to her home early Monday and
cause of death was not immediately determined.  An autopsy is being performed.

She was born December 6, 1942 in Ionia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Bair.  She was married October 28, 1967 in Ionia to Wayne Austin, who survives.

Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Gladys Hull of Palo, three half
brothers, Allen Hull and Ricky Hull of Palo and Thomas Hull of Battle Creek; one
step sister, Mrs. Janice Mull of Sheridan; and grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Johnson
of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Rev.
Hendrickson of Palo will officiate and burial will be at Orleans cemetery.

Rev. Charles Hendrickson of Palo Baptist church officiated at funeral services
Wednesday in Ionia for Mrs. Helen E. Austin who died Monday.  Interment was at
Orleans cemetery.

Bearers were Miles Hull, Fred Smith, David Bugbee, Clayton Rathburn, Raymond
Cuttle and Ervin Greux.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hart of Morenci, Mrs. Emmet
Bair of Tipton, Mrs. Hazel Bair of Adrian, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Austin of
Mulliken, Mrs. Orrin Austin of Sunfield, Mrs. Nelie Webb of Cedar Springs, Mrs.
Archie Gillson of Sheridan, Mrs. Geraldine Sheaffer of Lansing, Bonnie Hull of
Middleton, Mr. and Mrs. James Sherman of Clarksville, Mrs. Reva Byers of
Belding, Mrs. William Sherman and Rose Sherman.
