Lake Odessa Wave
    DANIEL P. AUSTIN PASSES AWAY
  Daniel P. Austin.72, prominent farmer, route 2, passed away suddenly at his farm
home Monday afternoon, November 24, but had been under the doctors care for some time.
  A native of Ionia county, he had spent his entire life in the local area and had
lived on the farm on Bippley road, Sebewa township, since his marriage to Eva Aungst, 
April 4, 1914 at Ionia.
  Mr. Austin was a member of the Sebewa Baptist church.
  Surviving are his wife; two daughters Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Torrey of Mecosta and
Mrs. Oren (Beulah) Daniels of rural Lake Odessa; 7 grand children and 10 great grand children.
  Funeral services were held Friday at :30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with burial
in Lakeside cemetery, Rev. Maurice Christensen officiated.
