The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 3, 1930


Mrs. Anna Austin, 91, widow of the late Robert Austin Sr., died at the home of 
her son, Robert Austin Jr., at Prairie Creek Friday morning at 8:20 and the 
funeral services will be held at the Boynton undertaking rooms Monday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock and the interment will take place in the Highland Park 
cemetery.

Mrs. Austin had lived in the vicinity of Ionia since 1898.  Her husband died 
in 1900.  She leaves the one son and a daughter, Mrs. J. D. Main, of Ionia.  
Another daughter, Mrs. Perry Mickle died several years ago.
