Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jan 1923

Mrs. Josephine Averill, for about 20 years a resident of the village of Orleans, 
passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. William Faulkner, on Wednesday 
afternoon.  Mrs. Averill had been ill for many months, and death had been 
expected for some time.

The funeral will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Faulkner in Shiloh 
Saturday morning at 10:30.  Burial will take place in Orleans cemetery.
