Excerpts from Saranac Online Obituary

         KEITH ALEXANDER AVERY

Died Wednesday December 21, 2022-age 66.
Born November 28, 1956 in Jackson,Michigan.
Son of Robert and Helen (Scott) Avery.
Keith competed several times at the National level for Judo as a second-degree 
black belt.
He taught Judo at Jackson YMCA.
Keith retired from Michigan department of Corrections after 32 years of service.
He enjoyed fishing and sharing that passion with his grandson while spending the 
summers with his family in Saranac.
Survived by his daughter Amber (Brandon) Dunbar of Saranac, brother Thomas 
(Joyce) Avery of Florida, Serenity Dunbar, Colten Jackson, and Grace Jackson. 
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert S.Avery.
Keith's merciful, honorable, kind, and loving character will be cherished & 
missed by those that had the honor to know him.
Cremation  has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
