Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday April 16, 1959

CHARLES AVES DIED TUESDAY
Charles Aves. 84, died Tuesday at a Grand Ledge convalescent home after a six 
months illness.

Mr.Aves was born September 15,1874 in Sebewa township, and had been a lifelong 
farmer of that area.

Surviving are one son, Arlo Aves of rural Portland; four grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren.

funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Mapes Funeral Home in 
Sunfield, by the Rev. Victor Jones. Burial in Sebewa Baptist cemetery.
