Ionia County News, 2 Apr 1942

C.W. Ayers, 62, Boston township, died in Carson City hospital Sunday, March 29, 
following a three weeks illness of flu.  He was taken to the hospital Thursday 
of last week.

Mr. Ayers was born in Keene township, September 13, 1880.  January 28, 1903, he 
was untied in marriage with Miss Carrie Ellis, who with their three daughters 
and four grandchildren, survive him.  The daughters are Mrs. Harvey McClure and 
Mrs. Don Kyser of Detroit and Mrs. Burton Austin of Saranac.

Funeral service was held from his late home in Boston township at 2:30 
Wednesday afternoon, April 1.
