The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 17, 1932

William Ayers, formerly of Portland, was found dead in bed in Lansing this 
week, where he had died of a heart attack.  Funeral services were held in 
Lansing Monday and burial was in Portland.  He was 66.
