Lake O. Wave, Thurs. June 5, 1980

CLARKSVILLE- Carrie Ayers, 96, of 10265 Grand River Ave, SE, died at her 
residence May 30.

She was born in Otisco township May 19, 1892, the daughter of Robert and Susan 
Lypps Ellis.

She attended South Boston Bible Church.

She married Charles W. Ayers, Jan. 18,1903. He died in 1943.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Thelma) McClure of Clarksville and 
Mrs. Burton (Elma) Austin of Saranac; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren. 

One daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jean) Kyser, died in 1969.

Services were held June 2 at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with the Rev. Earl 
Cross officiating.

Burial was in the Saranac Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the South Boston Bible Church.
