The Ionia Standard, Friday, June 18, 1886
Died – on Friday, June 12th, 1886, Mr. Nathan B. Ayers, aged almost 88 years.  
The funeral services were held at the residence of the deceased and attended 
by a large number of friends and relatives, Mr. Ayers being one of the oldest 
settlers in this neighborhood, and was highly esteemed by his many 
acquaintances.
