DEVIN KEITH AYERES, 30
Devin Keith Ayres, 30, of Ionia, passed away April 19, 2018. He was born on Oct. 12,
1987, in Joplin, MO., the son of Brian Ayres and Rachel Thompson. Davin was a graduate of
Ionia High School, Class or 2005. Music was his passion and he loved playing guitar. He
also enjoyed disc golf and skateboarding.

Surviving are his parents, Brian (Monica) Ayres of Ionia and Rachel (Doug) Thompson
of Ionia; son, Dalton Keith; grandparents, Mary Sena and Jerry Dennis of Ionia, Reuben
(Beth) Sena of Lyons, Dan and Joy Ayres of Saranac, Don and Barb Thompson of Bradley and 
Sharon Carter of Ionia; brother, Dustin Anthony Ayres of Ann Arbor; sisters, Jasmine
E. Thompson of Ionia, Olivia J. Thompson of Ionia and several aunts, uncles and
cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carrol Carter.

Funeral services for Devin will be held at the Lake Funeral home in Ionia on
Wednesday, April 25, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Balcom
Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing may make
