Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Sep 1987

Roy L. Babcock, 77, of 319 Irish Street, Lyons, died Thursday at Ionia County
Memorial Hospital.  Born Sept. 12, 1910, in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, he
was the son of Charles and Ella Cochran Babcock.  He was graduated from Ionia
High School with the Class of 1929.  He was retired from Van Loo Products, Belding.

Surviving are a brother, Ivan Babcock of Lyons; a sister, Ruby Lemke.  Two
sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from Hull Memorial Chapel, the Rev.
Gerald Van Houten officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.
