Daily Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, Nov. 16, 1935

Mrs. Julius Babcock died at her home in Oakland, Cal. Wednesday, November 6, 
and funeral services were held Friday, November 8. Mrs. Babcock was born in 
Ionia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Taylor and in 1882 she married 
Julius Babcock of Ionia. In 1914 they moved to California.

Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Schively of Kalamazoo, 
and Mrs. Lucy Comer of San Francisco, five grandchildren, a twin sister, Mrs. 
Minnie Bowen of Ionia, a brother George Taylor of Grand Rapids, and a sister, 
Mrs. Grace McArthur of Millbrook.
