Died Tuesday July 18, 1989-age 65 at Saginaw Veteran's Facility. Born October 23, 1923 in Union City, Pa. A resident of Carson City & Hubbardston area for the past 30 years. Retired from Oldsmobile where he was an Electrician. Member of the Hubbardston Tuscan Masonic Lodge, Carson City Order of the Eastern Star, Carson City United Methodist Church & Lester J.Sitt VFW Post 5065 of Sheridan. A Navy Veteran of World War II. Married the former Dorothy (Norton) in Seattle, Wash. Survived by wife, Dorothy, daughter Karen Babcock, Melbourne, Australia; a son David Babcock, Portland, Maine; a brother, harry Babcock, Spokane, Wash.; & three grandchildren. Funeral service are Friday at Schnepp Funeral Home & Tuscan Masonic Lodge. VFW Post 5065 will hold graveside services at East Plains Cemetery.
