Ionia Standard, 6 Sep 1889

Ann Maria, wife of Jacob N. Bacon, of this city, died on Monday of heart
trouble, aged 51 years.  Brief funeral services were held at residence on Morse
street on Wednesday morning, and remains were taken to Ypsilanti for interment.
 Mrs. Bacon leaves five children, Lois; Edward K.; Alice E., a teacher at
Muskegon, and Bessie and Genevieve, pupils in the city schools.
