Bacon, relict of Rev. E.D. Bacon, (who preceded her to the better land some three months ago) were received in Ionia this morning from Grand Rapids, for interment in the Tuttle cemetery in Orange Tp. Her pastor, Rev. J. W. Hart of the Tenth Ave. M. E. church; a son, Hildreth Phillips of Jackson; and two sons-in-law, George Schaufele and Charles Pratt, were in the funeral party that accompanied the remains to the grave. Deceased was aged 71 years, and was a resident of Orange away back in the 80s, as the wife of Rev. Phillips, whose good work included the building of both the brick church in Orange and the M.
