Daily Sentinel - Friday, Dec. 20, 1901

Jay Bacon of Muir died early yesterday morning, at age of 38, leaving a wife 
and three children. He had an insurance of $1000 in the order of the Woodmen. 
Deceased clerked for a time, several years ago, for F.W. Stevenson of this 
city. His father lives in north part of Ionia township.
