Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Feb. 2, 1928

HUBBARDSTON- Chester Bacon, aged 75 years, one of Hubbardston's oldest 
residents passed away Monday. He had been confined to his home by illness only 
one week. Death was due to a complication of diseases. He is survived by his 
widow and seven children. His daughter, Mrs. Lewis, with his widow, living in 
the village, two daughters and a son in California and three sons in Grand 
Rapids. The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 o'clock.
