Ionia Sentinel-Standard - April, 2012

In memory of James "Jim" Dennis Badder, born in Ionia on Sept. 22, 1947 to 
Donald K. Badder and Katherine (Gladys) Badder (Patrick). He passed away on 
April 25, 2012 at Sparrow Ionia Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald K.; mother, Gladys; a brother, 
Belmont; sister-in-law, Sandy Badder (Drysdale); and a stepson, Timothy Stowell.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Badder of Belding and Tina (Rob) 
McGill of Greenville; stepson, Corey Stowell of Redford; brothers, Donald 
Badder and Dwight (Nancy) Badder of Ionia; sisters, Ardella (Tom) Pohl of 
Woodland and Ulah Taylor of Ionia; grandsons, Brandon Woodhams, Treyton Donley 
and Tyler and Travis McGill; special friend, Connie Stowell; several nieces and 
nephews; and his faithful companion, Rufus.

Dad enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, had a special love 
for hoses, and enjoyed drinking a beer or two with friends. Years ago, he 
worked for the Ionia Road Commission, and he loved doing construction.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will be 
having a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012. We welcome all 
family and friends to please join us at 5664 Wheeler Road, Belding (north off 
M-44 on Johnson Road to Wheeler, west to the end of the road).
