                            ZENAS BADDER

Zenas Badder, 84, of route 2, East David Highway died Thursday at a St.Louis 
nursing home following an extended illness.

He was born in Orange Township November 11, 1890.

He attended the LeValley school and was a farmer on David Highway many years 
before retiring nine years ago.

In 1970 he was married to Helen Easter who died in December of 1965 after 
celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. A daughter, Mary died in 1956.

He helped with the construction of the present LeValley United Methodist church.

Surviving are a son, Mason Badder of rural Ionia and daughter, Mrs. Elvesta 
Toland of Muir, ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the LeValley United Methodist 
Church. Dr.Lloyd Walker will officiate and interment will be at Balcom Cemetery.

Until noon Sunday the body will be at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
