Badder, 70, died at his home on Harter street, Tuesday afternoon, February 15. He had been ill for more than a year. Mr. Badder was born on a farm in Orleans township, May 31, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Badder. In February, 1889, 49 years ago, he was united in marriage with Mary Rowe of Orleans. The fall of 1937 they left the Orange township farm, which had been their home during their married life, and came to Ionia to reside. Mr. Badder is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Roy Fosburg, Orange township; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Piersefield, Mulliken and Mrs. Alice Chich of Williamston; one brother, Myron Badder of Orange. Rev. Kenneth Griswold will officiate at the funeral service which will be held at two o’clock Friday afternoon, February 18, from the Myers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.
