She was born on April 21, 1944 in Detroit, Mich. the daughter of Wilfred Joseph and Margaret (Skoken) Drysdale. Sandra was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and graduated there in 1962. She was a former director of the Ionia County Commission on Aging as well as a member of the Ionia Farm Power club. Sandra enjoyed traveling and researching her family history. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially during the Christmas season. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Walter Drysdale; sister, Darlene Bullard; father-in-law, Donald K. Badder; mother-in-law, Gladys Badder and brother-in-law, Belmont Badder. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Donald; son, Todd (Janel) Badder with grandchildren Jordan and Dalton Badder; daughter, Denise (David) Cunningham with grandchildren Kelsey, Trenton and Devin Cunningham; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Sandin with grandchildren Drew Doyle and Spencer Meade; brothers, Ron Drysdale and Joe (Cindy) Drysdale; sister, Wilmarge “Billie” (Alan) Dashaner; special nieces, Kim and Kristi Mason; brothers-in-law, Jim Badder and Dwight Badder; sisters-in-law, Ardella (Tom) Pohl and Ulah Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday at the Schrauben- Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. A Scriptural Wake Service will be prayed at 8 p.m., Monday. Contributions may be made to either the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Ionia Commission on Aging or the Ionia Area Hospice in Sandra's name.
