January 7, 2026 Excerps from Greenville Obituary REED ARLEN BADERSNIDER Died January 1, 2026-age 75 of Greenville, Mich. Born July 2, 1950, son of Arlen Ray Badersnider & Jacquelin Morris. He proudly served his country in the National Guard for six years during the Vietnam era. Married on November 10, 1973 to Louanne Sue Baumann & they shared 52 years together. Reed enjoyed golfing,traveling & racing & a fan of Notre Dame football & the Chicago Bears. Was an active member of the American Legion & The Moose Lodge & belonged to Sigma Theta Fraternity, as well as the Eagles. Also a dedicated lifetime member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA),MRMA, and had a passion for racing & motocross. He ran a successful sales agency headquartered in Greenville for over 30 years. Survived by his wife, Louanne Badersnider; children Elizabeth Badersnider & Ryan (Amy) Badersnider; brother Karl Badersnider; sister Robin Badersnider; & grandchildren, London, Arlet & Layton. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 at St.Michael Catholic Church in Remus, Mich.,with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church, Father Lou Anderson as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St.Michael Catholic Church in Remus or St. Charles Catholic Church in Greenville.
