Portland Observer, 4 Dec 1952

Thomas Badger, 69, resident of Collins neighborhood, died at Butterworth 
hospital, Grand Rapids, Tuesday.  He was taken there due to injuries received 
when kicked by a horse.  Mr. Badger had lived on the former Will Frost farm, east 
of Collins, for 16 years.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman Funeral 
home in Ionia, and burial will be in that city.
