Ionia Standard - Friday, Dec. 22, 1916

William F. Bading of 316 Harter street, who went to St. Mary's hospital at 
Grand Rapids two weeks ago, for treatment, died there at 8:00 o'clock Friday 
night. deceased was aged 68 years, and had been an employee at the Hayes-Ionia 
works for some five years. He leaves a wife and one child. The remains were 
taken direct to Grand Haven, his former home before coming to Ionia, for 
interment, with funeral services on Monday.
