The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 30, 1960

Mrs. Beatrice E. Bailey, 48, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday in Grand Rapids 
Osteopathic hospital.  She had been hospitalized four days but had been in ill 
health several years.  She was born April 30, 1911, the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Roy Kincaid and had spent most of her life in the Lake Odessa area.  

Surviving are her husband Robert H.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Webb of 
Caledonia; a son, Richard Allen of the United States Navy in Japan; her step-
mother, Mrs. Clark Sherman of Lake Odessa; one sister, Mrs. Vernetta Harper of 
Cresswell, ore., and one brother, Douglas Kincaid of Casper, Wyo.

The body of Mrs. Bailey is at the Pickens funeral home where service will be 
held Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  The Rev. F. J. Fitch will officiate and burial 
will be at Lakeside cemetery.

Funeral service for Mrs. Beatrice E. Bailey, 48, who died Tuesday night at a 
Grand Rapids hospital, was held Saturday afternoon at Pickens funeral chapel 
in Lake Odessa.  The Rev. F. J. Fitch officiated and burial was at Lakeside 
cemetery.

Bearers were Vern Plants, Galen Haas, Richard Bartlett, Jack Smith, John Smith 
and James Smith.
