Ionia Sentinel, 16 Aug 1882

Geo. Bailey, a farmer 69 years old, living one mile north of Muir, died suddenly 
Saturday morning.  He seemed well as usual up to the time of his death.  He was 
engaged with others stacking wheat on his place and was seen to fall upon the 
wheat and died before they could get him down from the stack.  His funeral was 
attended at North Plains Sunday, where John White was buried the same day, whose 
death was noticed in Saturday’s Sentinel.
