Bailey, 75, prominent Bushnell township farmer, died Tuesday night at his farm home as the result of a heart attack. He had been in ill health for several months. Born January 23, 1868, in North Plains township, he had lived for the past 23 years on a farm in Bushnell. He is survived by the widow, Hattie; three daughters, Mrs. Edison Bennett, of Crystal; Mrs. Irving Sherd of Carson City and Mrs. Enos Flint of Port Huron; three sons, Bert Bailey of Port Huron, Joseph Bailey of Lansing and Roy C. Bailey of Ionia; 24 grandchildren, four of which are in the armed forces, and a brother, Floyd Bailey, of Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock (cwt) at the residence. Burial will be in Palo cemetery. The Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan is in charge of funeral arrangements.
