Private funeral services for Earle W. Bailey, who died at his home at 471 
Nicholson street Thursday evening will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Stone-Kauffman 
Funeral home with Rev. James Kendall officiating.

He was born September 23, 1899, the son of Charlie and Sophie Bailey.  He moved 
to Ionia from Mendon four years ago.  Mr. Bailey was a painter and decorator by 
trade, a veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion post 182.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Peter Semo of Ionia, several nieces and nephews.
