Bailey, brother of E. R. Bailey of this city, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at his home in Port Huron. Deceased was well known on this city where he has many friends who will regret to learn of his demise, though his condition was known to have been serious for some time. He was about 54 years of age. The remains were brought here for burial by the side of H. L. Bailey, dec., in Highland Park cemetery, being taken there direct. The remains of the late Frank A. Bailey arrived Tuesday from Port Huron, and were received at the D.G.H.&M. train by Commander Fowle and a good representation of W. H. Borden post, No. 211, G.A.R. They were then escorted to Highland Park cemetery and laid in a grave beside his brother, H. L. Bailey. The pall bearers were a detail from the post, Comrades W. J. Just, D. A. Jewell, E. A. Scotford, L. Buck, A. J. Cook and B. Covert, and Rev. W. H. Thomas, D.D., of St. Johns church, read to last sad service at the final resting place. Besides the bereaved widow, those who accompanied the remains here were her sister, Mrs. Julia Graham, of Saginaw, and Mrs. Keeler, of Saginaw, Mrs. Celia Bailey, of Lansing, and E. R. Bailey who was with his brother in his last hours.
